At Kranichstein, we offer you optimal capacities for small, medium and large groups, both indoors and outdoors. Enjoy the individuality in the small, elegant boardroom (up to 12 people), in the Blue Salon (up to 60 people), in the elegant palace hall (up to 150 people) or in the functional Landgraf Ludwig I & II meeting rooms (up to 12 people). Our green jewel, the Parforcehof, is always available to you - for coffee breaks or an evening event with up to a thousand guests. Due to the wooded surroundings and the proximity to Darmstadt city center, our house also has many possibilities to make your leisure time pleasant. Tip for the lunch break or the evening: take a walk around the idyllic Backhausteich, which is very relaxing. If you want culture, take a look at the unique collection of the last Grand Duke in the Hunting Museum, which is adjacent to the hotel. For longer leisure time, the nearby Grube Messel with its 44 million year old fossils and in Darmstadt the Art Nouveau ensemble Mathildenhöhe, aspirant for the UNESCO World Heritage Site award, are recommended.
Meetings in the castle hall
The festive palace hall reminds of the great past of the former pleasure palace at the gates of Darmstadt like no other room in the hotel. Chandeliers on the ceilings, fine wall coverings, neat pillars: you don’t need a lot of imagination to imagine the glamorous festivals with which the landgraves celebrated their hunting successes here at the time. The ideal event room for dignified occasions with up to 150 people — the perfect business look during the day, festively dressed up for the banquet in the evening with fine table linen and covers.
